Children’s memorial breakfast to be held Jan. 15

On Saturday, Jan. 23, the Margaret Sterling Cook Foundation will host a children’s memorial breakfast at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Crossings at 801 Greenwich Ave. in Warwick.

This special event is for bereaved parents, family and friends of deceased children who died at any age, for any reason.

The morning’s inspirational keynote speaker will be R.I. radio personality and bereaved parent, Dave Kane.

As part of the event, a candlelighting ceremony will commemorate each child represented.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under three are free.

Reservations must be made by Jan. 15. Seating is limited.
