Kennedy’s office seeks spring interns

Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy is seeking interested candidates for several spring semester internship positions in his district office located at 249 Roosevelt Ave. in Pawtucket. Interns are given the opportunity to learn first-hand about working in a Congressional member’s office through a variety of activities including, but not limited to, policy research, constituent affairs and media relations.

The program is run through the R.I. State Government Internship Program. Interns are asked to work 8 to 10 hours per week. Eligible candidates must be students at least in their second year at a two-year college, or have junior or senior status at a fouryear college. Students must have a 2.5 grade point average or higher to participate in the state program.
