‘Pink lady’ night to benefit breast health

South County Hospital will host a “pink lady” martini night on Wednesday, Jan. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hanson’s Pub in Wakefield to raise funds for its breast health program.

The program offers comprehensive medical care for breast health issues and provides a breast health coordinator to give support and guidance as patients navigate the diagnostic and treatment program. The hospital also sponsors a number of support groups, activities and presentations for area cancer patients and survivors.

Tickets are $25 each and include one free “pink lady” martini or pink wine, and one choice of the following appetizers: Shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque or bruschetta with sun-dried tomatoes and wild mushrooms.

Additional drink coupons will be sold for $7 at the event. Dinner specials will also be available.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Call 788-1405 for more information.
