JEF announces after school programs for kids

The Jamestown Education Foundation and the Jamestown School Department will offer a series of after school programs for children this winter. Programs are offered for all grade levels and are open to all Jamestown children.

The six- to eight-week session begins Jan. 19. Programs offered this session include: Cooking, Print Making, Art For Kids, Hip Hop, Newspaper Club, Photography, Comic Art Explorers, Spanish, Speed Stacking, String Ensemble, Student Council, Take the Stage!, Writer’s Club, Yearbook and Yoga. In addition, there is an after school homework group each day.

While many of the programs are offered at no cost, some programs may have a nominal fee for materials. Fee waivers are available to anyone requiring one.
