Discrepancy derails Harbor Commission budget hearing
      Dozens of islanders turned out for a special meeting of the Jamestown Harbor Commission last Wednesday to review harbor and budget fees for the 2010 season. The meeting was a public hearing held in response to a potential rise in fees, and no vote was planned.

Schlachter, Feeley plan October wedding
      Drew Schlachter and Lori Campbell of Jamestown announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Schlachter, to Michael Feeley, son of Donna and Terry Feeley of Saunderstown. The couple met in high school and has been together for nine years. Both are graduates of the University of Rhode Island.
