Schlachter, Feeley plan October wedding

Drew Schlachter and Lori Campbell of Jamestown announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Schlachter, to Michael Feeley, son of Donna and Terry Feeley of Saunderstown.

The couple met in high school and has been together for nine years. Both are graduates of the University of Rhode Island.

Lacey has taught middle and high school science, and now works at URI as a coordinator for the SMILE program, a math and science academic enrichment program for fourth through twelfth graders.

Mike is a firefighter with the North Smithfield Fire Department. He has a degree in wildlife conservation biology.

The couple will marry in October, 2010, in Narragansett.
