Olympic experience

Jamestown resident Paul Hines (above left) and his co-worker Gary Meador became part of Olympic history when they participated in the torch run for the Vancouver games. Hines works for a company called Aggreko, the official supplier of temporary power and heating for the 2010 Olympic games, and is currently in Vancouver managing the entire project and a crew of 120 people. He brought the whole family along to enjoy the experience, including (from left) his mother-in-law Jean Lilly, his wife, Trish, and his son, Rian, all of Jamestown. Photos by Jean-Francois O’Kane
