7:57 a.m., Feb. 2, Engine 2 was dispatched to Post Road in North Kingstown for a stand-by cover assignment.

7:30 p.m., all units turned out at the fire station on Narragansett Avenue for the department’s quarterly meeting.

7:14 p.m., Feb. 6, Engine 2 and Car 4 were sent to Columbia Avenue for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

11:10 a.m., Feb. 8, Tanker 2, Engines 1, 2 and 3, Ladder 1, Rescue 1 and Car 3 went to Top O’ The Mark Drive for an electrical wiring problem.

2:12 p.m., Feb. 10, Engine 3, Rescue 1 and Car 4 were dispatched to Stern Street for a vehicle accident with injuries.

9:11 a.m., Feb. 11, Car 1, Engine 3 and Rescue 1 were sent to Beavertail Road for a vehicle accident and general clean-up.

7:30 p.m., Feb. 11, all units turned out at the fire station for a drill.

3:28 p.m., Feb. 13, Engines 2 and 3, and Cars 2 and 4 went to Narragansett Avenue for a fire.

This week, JEMS transported seven patients to Newport Hospital, one to Hasbro Children’s Hospital and transported one patient back from Newport Hospital. Two medical calls resulted in patient refusal of transport. Medical calls were related to seizure, nausea, weakness, diabetic and cardiac incidents. Trauma calls involved treatment of injuries dues to falls.
