Film tonight at library

The Friends of the Jamestown Library will show the next film in its winter series tonight, Thursday, March 11, at 6:45 p.m. The Swiss film “Vitus,” the story of a child prodigy, a 12-year-old pianist and his loving, but overprotective family, stars real-life piano prodigy, Teo Gheorghiu.

The final film in the series will be Il Postino (The Postman), which will be shown on Thursday, March 25, at 7 p.m.

Tonight, refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the film will begin promptly at 6:45 p.m.

All films are free and open to the public; contact the library at 423- 7280 for more information.

If you’ve missed any of the winter foreign films, a DVD copy is available at the library.
