Sunday concert to benefit mission trip

“Voices For Vision,” a benefit concert to raise funds for a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic, will take place this Sunday, March 21, at 4 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church in Jamestown.

Featured performers include Matt and Judy Bolles, Julie Beth Andrews, Jeanne Spinosa, country singer Bill Friday, Hannah Cordes, Malari Martin and the “Accidental Sisters” (a women’s a capella group directed and created by Julie Beth Andrews), among others.

The concert is organized by Hannah Cordes, who will accompany her mother on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in April. They will provide eye care to workers in sugarcane plantations, along with other medical professionals of various fields.

All proceeds will go towards the mission, and donations of glasses will be gratefully accepted at the concert. Admission is $8 per person and $20 per family.

Tickets are available at Slice of Heaven, at the door or by contacting Hannah Cordes at 423-3454.
