Islanders named to PCD honor roll

Jay Mayers and Connor Rooney, both of Jamestown, have been named to the honor roll for the second trimester at Providence Country Day School.

Smith named to dean’s list at Salve Regina

Ashley Smith of Jamestown, a sophomore at Salve Regina University, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester. Smith, daughter of Lori and Robert Smith, is a double major in elementary education and special education.

North named to Westfield State dean’s list

Joshua North of Jamestown has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester at Westfield State College in Westfield, Mass. He is currently majoring in criminal justice.
