Jamestown Golf Club seeks new members

The Jamestown Golf Club seeks new members who live in Jamestown for the 2010 season. It is also time for current members to renew their memberships.

Annual dues are $65 for men, $35 for women and free for juniors (under 18), although juniors are asked to register.

Membership in the Jamestown Golf Club, which plays all its tournaments at the Jamestown Golf Course, includes R.I. Golf Association membership, making a member eligible for RIGA tournaments; eligibility for RIGA’s invitational packages of five select courses statewide; a certified U.S. Golf Association handicap, recognized worldwide; and eligibility for all Jamestown Golf Club tournaments, which will again feature seven events for 2010, beginning on April 17 with a “Meet the Members” tournament, the Members Classic, Member-Member, Member-Guest, Stableford, a special “gimmick” tournament and a turkey shoot on Oct. 30 to wrap up the year. It also qualifies a member for the club championships.

Any Jamestown resident wishing to join the Jamestown Golf Club can do so by sending the appropriate dues in a check made out to Jamestown Golf Club to Al Auger, treasurer, Jamestown Golf Club, 16 Rosedale Terrace, Middletown, RI 02842.

Include your address, phone number and e-mail address; RIGA membership card will be sent to you.
