Community Band concert on Tuesday

The Jamestown Community Band will hold its spring concert on Tuesday, April 13, at 7 p.m. at the PAC Club on Narragansett Avenue.

The event was rescheduled from March 30 due to the storm and flooding on the island.

The program will include lively interpretations of English folk and sea songs by Percy Grainger and Ralph Vaughn Williams, as well as the long-time island favorites Colonel Bogey’s March, Seventy-Six Trombones, John Phillips Souza’s Thunderer and Stars And Stripes Forever.

Admission is free, and refreshments will follow the music.

All are welcome!
