Join the Childhood Stroke Awareness Walk at Ft. Wetherill on May 15
Rhode Island’s second annual Childhood Stroke Awareness Walk will be held Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m. at Ft. Wetherill State Park.
All net proceeds from the walk will benefit the Children’s Hemiplegia and Stroke Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families affected by pediatric stroke and other causes of hemiplegia.
Participants can register online at www.members.cox.net/jball44/. Mail-in registrations – forms are available on the website or at Baker’s, McQuade’s or the Jamestown library – can be sent to CHASA, c/o Jill Ball, 30 Intrepid Ln., Jamestown, RI 02835. Registrations received online or postmarked by April 30 will receive a free t-shirt.
