Enter your art in CIAA show
The Conanicut Island Art Association’s next open juried art show at Jamestown Town Hall will be “Animals, Animals, Animals.” All media that relates to the theme will be accepted, including small three-dimensional work for the new glass display cabinets.
The drop-off date is Thursday, April 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.; up to three pieces may be entered.
CIAA members and non-members are welcome to submit work. Hanging work must be properly framed, wired and ready to hang; no saw tooth hangers will be accepted. The maximum size accepted is 48” x 48,” and the maximum weight is 20 lbs. Due to display limitations, three-dimensional work may not be wider than 12 inches or taller than 18 inches.
The juror is Keith Fox, a painter and print maker who exhibits his work internationally. Keith is an instructor at RISD, and his works have been collected by more than 30 private collectors.
An opening reception will be held Thursday, May 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Town Hall gallery. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
