Stephen ‘Rod’ Morinho, 70
Stephen “Rod” Morinho, 70, of Charlotte, N.C. died April 13, 2010. Born in Newport, R.I. on July 22, 1939, he lived in Jamestown for most of his life before moving to New Jersey.
He was a retired spoon maker with Tiffany and Company.
Mr. Morinho always had a big smile for everyone. He played a mean horn with the Jamestown Mens Corp. He loved riding his Indian Harley Davidson bike, playing
a hand of poker with friends, singing a great rendition of Johnny Cash and fishing with the boys.
He leaves two sons, Stephen R. Morinho and Rhath Morinho of Lyndhurst, N.J.; two daughters, Brenda Morinho of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and Melody Morinho of Lyndhurst, N.J.; sisters, Beverly Lange of North Carolina and Margaret Glendenning and Patricia Penmantel of Ohio; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
