Susan “Margaret” Perry, 96

Susan Margaret

Perry (Mc-

Menamin) passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. She was the wife of the late Joseph Perry.

Margaret was born on Feb. 7, 1914, in Clydebank, Scotland, to Susan (McClintock) and Patrick McMenamin. She was one of nine children. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Margaret had many interests, and pursued them through various organizations, including the Exchange of Topics and Conversation Club (ETC), various Jamestown Bowling Leagues and Catholic Daughters of America. She supported all her children’s activities, was a gardener, a great cook and an avid knitter. Until three weeks prior to her death, she was still knitting hats for preemie babies for the Threads of Love organization.

Margaret had a terrific sense of humor and could tell a great story.

First and foremost, Margaret loved her family, and they her. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in law, Susan and Bill Brayman, and Joan and John McCauley of Jamestown; her son and daughter in-law, Joseph and Virginia Perry of Florida. Also, her beloved grandsons and their families, Bill and Helen Brayman of Redondo Beach, Calif.; David and Andrea Brayman and their children, Lexi, Katy and Ian, of Jamestown; and Matthew and Wendy Brayman and their daughters, Madison and Abigail, of Woodstock, Conn.; Joseph Perry, and John Perry and his son, Brennan; as well as her step-grandchildren Ian McCauley of San Diego, Calif. and Becky (McCauley) Eberwein and her husband, Jason, of San Marcos, Calif.

Margaret was a woman of faith and a communicant of St. Mark Church in Jamestown. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, April 27, at St. Mark Church in Jamestown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Mark Church or the Salvation Army will be appreciated. For information and online condolences, visit www.FaganQuinnFuneralHome. com.
