Your kindness helps horses

On May 2, the Jamestown Golf Course hosted “Par for the Horse,” a benefi t tournament for the nonprofi t Horse Play Equine Rescue & Sanctuary.

It was a great success and everyone at Horse Play, especially the horses, would like to send big thank-yous to all of the participants, players, Jamestown Golf Course, Trattoria Simpatico, Detroit Collision Center, Cathryn Jamieson Salon, House of Pizza, Ace’s Pizza, Ken Jeremiah, Bob Clark, World Gym, Sam Williams, Narragansett Driving Range, Anna Grezabien, Garry, Mandy, Donna, Carla, Nina and super big thanks to Fran Hamilton – the instigator who made it all happen!

Maybe it’ll be a regular event?

Horse Play will hold its annual open house on Saturday, May 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rain date is June 5) at the farm at 143 Gilbert Stuart Rd. in Saunderstown. The event will feature vendors, demos, food, music and more.

Your kindness helps horses in need!
