This week, JEMS had 12 calls, which resulted in three refusals of transport, one patient transported to Rhode Island Hospital and eight patients transported to Newport Hospital.

Trauma calls included leg injury and injuries due to fall. Medical calls included not feeling well, possible stroke, difficulty breathing, severe headache, confusion and loss of consciousness.
