Be safe when celebrating Independence Day
Everyone looks forward to the Fourth of July. This year, the calendar has given us another three-day holiday weekend. State lawmakers have made certain fireworks, such as sparklers, legal for the first time in years.
We’d like to point out that these fireworks do require responsible supervision when in the hands of children. Please be cautious where safety is concerned so that everyone will have an enjoyable holiday.
No matter what you will be doing to celebrate this Fourth of July – boating, fishing, picnicking or going to the beach – be responsible and stay safe.
