Black and White to perform free concert

Summer music in Jamestown continues for the 2010 season at East Ferry Memorial Square this Sunday, July 11, with the threepiece blues rock band, Black and White.

At 6:30 p.m., Black and White will take the stage for a set of cool rhythm and blues. One of R.I.’s busiest working bands, Black and White has headlined venues along the East Coast and has performed at the Boston Blues Festival. The band has shared billing with such legendary acts as Bo Diddley, Southside Johnny, G.E. Smith, Junior Wells, Buckwheat Zydeco, Rick Derringer, .38 Special, Duke Robillard and Dr. Hook.

Black and White features Don DiMuccio on drums, Jason James on guitar and Kevin Martin on bass.

Bring blankets or chairs to enjoy this concert; admission is free.

In case of rain, the show will go on at the recreation center.
