The Jamestown Community Chorus will present its 21st annual talent show, “Seaside Rendezvous,” on Thursday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jamestown recreation center.

Islanders of all ages are invited to start polishing their performance skills over the next few weeks and to mark their calendars for the talent show auditions, which will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 16 and 17, at 7 p.m. at the recreation center. A piano accompanist will be available; there is no charge to audition.

Past shows have featured musicians, dancers, singers, storytellers and more. Performers do not need to live in Jamestown and those who live in surrounding towns, as well as summer residents, are welcome to try out.

All proceeds from the talent show, which is the Chorus’ biggest annual fundraiser, benefit the programs of the Chorus, which include two yearly concert seasons, donations of music-related materials to the Jamestown library and a music scholarship.

The Chorus has been singing in Jamestown since 1949.
