They’re the champs

Jamestown Youth Soccer’s Under 12 Boys team closed out its 2010 spring season with a dominant performance at the URI Goal 4 Rams 6 v 6 soccer tournament held July 24 at the URI soccer complex. Jamestown prevailed in three U12 bracket matches against teams from South County, Johnston and Bayside FC (Shelton, Conn.), and then won the championship game against South County. The team is coached by Jay Sisson and Jim Simmons, who will continue to coach the majority of the players as they advance to Under 14 play in the fall.
