Watson Farm site of annual Chamber event

The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce and Historic New England will sponsor this year’s annual fund-raising event: Night at Watson Farm.

The annual shindig will be on Saturday night, Aug. 21, from 6 to 11 p.m. at the farm, located at 455 North Main Rd.

Tickets, at $65 per person, include a night of dancing to Slippery Sneakers—a Cajun/ Zydeco band; a buffet by Chopmist Charlie’s and beer, wine and soft drinks. To complete the fun there will also be a silent auction, raffle and many prizes.

Auction items include a dinner prepared by master Chef Kevin Gaudreau who will make a dinner for 10 providing food, wine, and tableware. Gaudreau, a Jamestown resident, is well known for his culinary talents and is presently chef at the Pier restaurant in Newport.

Cruise on The Muse, a 123- foot luxury mega-yacht offers a 4-hour cocktail cruise for up to 12 people. Embark in Jamestown for a sunny afternoon of leisurely cruising or enjoy an extended sunset cocktail cruise with your friends.

The Ocean House Spa Suite consists of dinner for two and two nights in the brand new luxurious Spa Suite – 180 degree unobstructed views of Block Island Sound.
