Watercolor workshop is last of season

Historic New England’s Watson Farm will hold its final watercolor workshop of the season on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 12.

The workshop, led by Natalie Pfanstiehl, will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will include a one-hour demonstration of landscape painting.

This all-day workshop offers painters the opportunity to experience and capture the many facets of the farm buildings, stonewalls and gardens through the medium of watercolor.

Students should bring their own painting materials and a bag lunch; all levels of experience with painting are welcome.

Cost is $25 for Historic New England members; $35 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is requested.

To register, call Heather Minto at 423-0005 or e-mail watsonfarm1796@ yahoo.com.
