Holes-in-one reported at Jamestown golf course

Seven holes-in-one were recorded this year at the Jamestown Golf Course. They included:

• On April 17, Chip Young hit a fifth hole, hybrid four, during the monkey tournament. Witnesses were Mike Montoya, Kevin Carty and Rick DeReese.

• On May 10, Ricco Vecchio hit a seventh hole, driver, during the monkey tournament. Witnesses were Al Auger, Tom Allen and John Mc- Cauley.

• On June 21, Nancy Burns hit a fifth hole, number-four wood, during the Bonnet Shores league. Witnesses were Georgette Wilson, Kay Quinn and Barbara Humphreys.

• On July 21, Ning Gotauco hit a fifth hole, hybrid six. Witnesses were Chet Gotauco, Missy D’Alessandro and Missy Oliveira.

• On Aug. 16, Mike Saunders hit a seventh hole, seven iron, during the AOH league. Witnesses were Pat Palmer, Norm King and Dennis Reddy.

• On Aug. 21, Tom Reul hit a fifth hole, eight iron. Witnesses were Tom Allen, Noel O’Dwyer and Bill Kopelcheck.

• On Aug. 25, Mike Montoya of Jamestown hit a seventh hole, eight iron, during the Twilight league. Witnesses were Don Bresnan, John Mc- Cauley and Peter McGuirl.
