FIRE AND EMS RUNS
2:29 p.m., Aug. 23, Cars 1, 3 and 4, and Engine 1 went to Narragansett Avenue and Lawn Avenue to assist National Grid with a downed power line.
10:56 p.m., Aug. 23, Engine 3 was dispatched to East Shore Road for a possible motor vehicle accident.
10:21 p.m., Aug. 24, Car 1, and Engines 1 and 2, were sent to Narragansett Avenue for a carbon monoxide detector activation.
7 p.m., Aug. 26, all units turned out at the fire station on Narragansett Avenue for a drill.
7:30 p.m., Aug. 27, Car 2, Engine 3, Ladder 1, Rescue 1 and Tanker 2 went to Conanicus Avenue for an apartment fire.
8:54 p.m., Aug. 28, Engines 1, 2 and 3, and Ladder 1 were dispatched to East Shore Road for a faulty smoke detector.
12:50 p.m., Aug. 29, Marine 1 and Car 2 were sent to Narragansett Town Beach to assist the U.S. Coast Guard with a search for multiple missing persons.
10:40 p.m., Marine 1, Engine 3, Rescue 1 and Cars 2 and 4 went to the Newport Bridge for a bridge jumper call.

9:45 a.m., Aug. 24, EMS 2, Southwest Avenue, transported.
9:18 a.m., Aug. 25, EMS 2, Buoy Street, transported.
4:08 p.m., Aug. 26, EMS 2, Walcott Avenue, transported.
11:53 a.m., Aug. 27, EMS 2, Conanicus Avenue, refused.
This week, JEMS had four calls. One refused transport and three were transported to Newport Hospital. Medical calls were for general weakness and dizziness.
