Flu shot clinic at library Oct. 9

The Friends of the Jamestown Library will sponsor a flu shot clinic from the Wellness Company at the Jamestown library on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Getting the flu can make you feel rotten! It can cause body aches, sore throat, fever, cough, congestion and extreme fatigue. Your best defense against the flu is a flu shot.

There will be no charge for people insured by Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare Part B, Neighborhood Health or Tufts. There is a charge of $20 if you are covered by a different insurer. You must have your insurance card with you. There is a charge of $30.00 if you have no insurance.

Walk-ins are welcome; you can also register online at www.thewellcomp. com. Flu shots are available for ages 6 months and older. If you are not sure whether you should get a flu shot, talk with your physician.

Call the library at 423-7280, or call Eleanor Hanson at 423-0346 for more information.
