After-school programs for kids begin Oct. 12
The Jamestown Education Foundation and the Jamestown School Dept. will offer a series of after-school programs for all children this fall. Programs are offered for all grade levels for the children of Jamestown; participants do not have to be students in Jamestown schools.
The six- to eight-week session begins Oct. 12. While many of the programs are offered at no cost, some programs may require a nominal fee for materials. Fee waivers are available to anyone requiring one.
Programs offered this session include cooking, printmaking, Spanish, hip hop, string ensemble with Emily Anthony, Student Council, karate, writer’s club, running club and yoga. In addition, there is an after-school homework group each day.
Registration forms are available online at JamestownEducationFoundation. org and at the Jamestown schools.
