Thanks for ‘Party Now’ Support
The Jamestown Arts Center would like to thank everyone for supporting “PARTY NOW,” our community capital campaign kick-off event on Sept. 25.
Over 300 partygoers reached deep into their hearts and pockets, giving more than $27,000 to help the JAC open its doors as soon as possible! It was a joyful night of mirrors, music, singing and dance. Seeing really was believing.
So many businesses and individuals generously supported PARTY NOW by donating through sponsorships, creativity, volunteered time, attendance, and goods and services. We are enormously grateful to our event co-chairs Courtney Hunter and Katie Munger, and committee members Leslie Banker, Catherine Bowen Brophy, Chrissie Connett, Robin Monihan and Vanessa Wurman who all worked tirelessly to create a truly artful night.
Over the past year the JAC’s capital campaign has been tremendously successful, but we are not done yet. Our immediate goal is to raise a further $120,000 by Dec. 21, which will enable us to begin programming and renovations and will make us eligible for many grants as well.
Every single donation moves us closer to opening the doors to this wonderful community arts center.
We will host a series of open houses during October and November. The first two will be Sunday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. The November open house dates will be listed on our website. Please stop by if you would like to tour the building and learn more about the project.
