Thanks for a great ‘Jamestown Day’

The Friends of Jamestown Youth would like to thank everyone for a very successful Jamestown Day event. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate Friday – causing us to postpone until Sunday – the event still had a great turnout.

We would like to thank all of our entertainers of the evening: The Jamestown Arts Center, the Jamestown Community Band, the Jamestown Community Theatre and the Dead Blues Society.

We would also like to thank Scott Masterson and trainees of the Jamestown Fire Department, Officer Scott Sullivan of the Jamestown Police Department, the Jamestown Rotary Club, Andrea Masterson, Andrew Rushton, Ronnie Parfitt, Freddie’s House of Pizza and Jeff Mc- Donough.

Also, we would like to thank Bonnie Jamison and the Litter Team, and all of our volunteers, too many to name, who made the event possible. A thank you also goes out to Spinnaker’s and East Ferry Deli for their generous donations.

Of course, the event wasn’t possible without our community members showing up and making the donation to the “Friends.”

Planning will start immediately for next year’s event.
