Shores group to host ‘meet the candidates’
The Jamestown Shores Association will host a “Meet the Candidates” night on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Jamestown Senior Center at 6 West St.
This event is for voters who wish to hear their candidates speak and to ask the candidates questions.
Invited are candidates running for State Senate and House seats that represent Jamestown. State Senate candidates are M. Teresa Paiva Weed and Geoffrey William Cook; State Representative candidates are Deborah L. Ruggiero, Anthony A. Mastrostefano and Daniel J. Capuano.
The moderator for the program will be John A. Murphy, Esq., who has been a lawyer since 1973 and practicing in Jamestown since 1988.
The Jamestown Shores Association is a neighborhood organization that began more than 50 years ago, when the area was first being established as a community of summer homes.
