NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE is hereby given that there will be a public hearing by and before the Town Council of the Town of Jamestown on November 1, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jamestown Town Hall, 93 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI pursuant to 5-24-1 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, 1956, and as amended, upon the following applications:

VICTUALING LICENSE WITH

EXTENDED HOURS: Jamestown Mist, LLC

Dba: Jamestown Mist 35 Narragansett Avenue

Plat 9 Lot 246

APPLICATION OF JAMESTOWN MIST, LLC., dba: Jamestown Mist, for additional operational hours between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM for said establishment, holder of a Victualing License issued by the Town of Jamestown. If granted, this will allow this establishment to continue to be open from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily (RIGL 5-24-1 allows this establishment to be open until 2:00 AM).

APPLICATION OF CUMBERLAND FARMS, INC., dba: Cumberland Farms Store #1108, for renewal of additional operational hours between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM for said establishment, holder of a Victualing License issued by the Town of Jamestown. If granted, this will allow this establishment to continue to be open from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily (RIGL 5-24-1 allows this establishment to be open until 2:00 AM).

All interested persons are notified to be present at said hearing to be heard for or against the granting of said applications. All interested persons at said hearing shall be given an opportunity to be heard on said application.

The above applications will be in order for hearing at a meeting of the Town Council on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2010 at 7:00 pm. at the Jamestown Town Hall, 93 Narragansett Avenue, in said Jamestown, at which time and place all remonstrates may make their objections against granting these licenses.

ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING OCTOBER 26, 2010, AT THE JAMESTOWN TOWN HALL 93 NARRAGANSETT AVENUE, JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND AT 7:00 P.M. UPON THE FOLLOWING:

Application of Henry & Mary Tarbox, whose property is located at 28 Clarke St., and further identified as Tax Assessor’s Plat 9, Lot 798, for a variance from Article 3, Section 302 (Table 3-2 District Dimensional Regulation) to construct a duplex (addition to existing , adding one-bedroom apartment) on a 11,427 sq. ft. lot (15,000 sq. ft. required). Said property is located in a R8 zone.

Application of Glenn & Numi Mitchell, whose property is located at 67 Howland Ave., and further identified as Tax Assessor’s Plat 9, Lot 191, for a special use permit under 82—301, Table 3-1, III Agriculture, #5, Keeping and raising of livestock and poultry accessory to permitted use on less than one acre. Said property is located in a R8 zone and contains 21,000 sq. ft.
