Thanks to art program presenters

The Friends of the Jamestown Library would like to thank Tom McAleer, and artists Katrina Cathcart and Emmet Estrada from the Top Drawer Art Center for their outstanding program on Oct. 7 “Outsider Art and Its Artists” at the Jamestown Library.

An exhibit featuring artists from Top Drawer will be up in the library meeting hall until the end of October. Also, art work from local artists at Bridges Inc. is featured in the library gallery. We invited the public to visit the library for a unique experience of the artistic spirit. Top Drawer Art Center is a nonprofit visual art center providing art programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Bridges, Inc., here in Jamestown, supports an artist’s collaborative as part of their overall mission.

The film, shown that evening “Outsider: the Life and Art of Judith Scott” by Betsy Bayha will be available to organizations to borrow and show.

Thanks again to Tom, Katrina and Emmet.
Judith H. Bell,
Friends of the Jamestown
