William T. Egan, 66
suddenly at home,
Sept. 18, 2010, in Okeechobee, Fla. He was the son of the late Charles A. Egan and Kathleen R. Kennedy of Jamestown.
Born June 5, 1944 in Woonsocket, he lived in North Smithfi eld, until moving to Key West, Fla. in 1989. He worked for the Key West Department of Transportation until retiring to Lake Okeechobee in November 2009. He was a member of the Teamsters, Masonic Lodge, as well as an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Survivors include his children, Michael S. Egan of Jamestown, Laurie A. Egan and Julie S. Egan, both of Woonsocket, daughter-in-law Michele C. Egan of Jamestown. He was the grandfather of Ryan P. Egan, Justin M. Egan, and Fraser A. Coleman, all from Woonsocket and Casey S. Egan and Molly E. Egan of Jamestown. He was the brother of Ann M. Gagnon of Jamestown and Charles F. Egan of North Lauderdale, Fla., and had numerous cousins.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 30 at St. Charles Church, North Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be at St. Mark’s Cemetery, North Main Rd. Jamestown, RI at noon. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
