NKHS presents ‘Romeo and Juliet’

Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m. and Sunday’s performance will be at 2 p.m.

In their innovative reworking of Shakespeare’s classic tale of teenage love, NorTHeatre sets the action in Verona High School where the Capulets are jocks and cheerleaders and the Montagues are non-conformist misfits, and they tackle issues including stereotyping, school violence and social labels.

Tickets are $8 in advance and can be purchased at www.northeatre. com. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $10.
