Avenue, Jamestown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. She was the wife of the late Gerald J. “Skip” Fraley.
Born in Newport, RI, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Godena) Guimarey.
She was an administrative secretary for the Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C. before retiring in 1979.
She was a member of the Holy Ghost Society and a former member of the Jamestown Community Chorus. She enjoyed crafting, bowling, gardening, golf and was an avid sports fan.
She leaves her sister, Dolores Christman and her husband Arthur of Jamestown. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robyn Fraley.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at 11:15 a.m. in Cedar Cemetery in Jamestown. Visiting hours are on Saturday morning 9-11 a.m. in the Fagan Quinn Funeral Home on 825 Boston Neck Rd. in North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Paul Newman’s The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp at 565 Ashford Center Rd., Ashford, Conn., 06278.
