Dance to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital

The Adolescents Making Programs for Teens, the Jamestown Teen Center’s advisory council, will host a Snowflake Dance for teens grades 7 and up.

The dance will be on Dec. 11 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the recreation center. Cost will be $5 with a toy donation for Hasbro Children’s Hospital and $10 with out. Profits from the dance will be used to purchase additional toys for this effort.

Donations of new and unwrapped gifts such as books, CDs, DVDs, games, Disney toys, arts and craft kits, and bath and body products are requested. Gift certificates are also requested for Barnes and Noble, Bath and Body Works, Best Buy, Game Stop, Old Navy, Showcase Cinemas, Target, Toys R Us and Walmart.

Donations will also be accepted at the Teen Center until Dec. 21 and can be dropped off on Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays between 2 and 9 p.m. For more information, call Debbie Tungett at 423-7261 or e-mail her at dtungett@jamestownri.net.
