Attempted breaking and

entering, willful trespassing

Daniel Kitts, 24, of 17 Plymouth Rd., Jamestown, was charged Nov. 26 with attempted breaking and entering and willful trespassing at a property on Clinton Avenue where there was a notrespass order in effect, according to police. Police were called by a neighbor who was aware of the no-trespass order and had observed the subject allegedly enter the house, police said. Police found articles belonging to Kitts on the property and found Kitts in the area, police said.

Kitts was held at the police station and a yet-to-be-determined court date is being set at Newport District Court, police said.

Driving without a license

Angel Sinay, 23, of 105 Lincoln St., Central Falls, was stopped on Route 138 for alleged erratic operation of a vehicle, according to police. Sinay did not have a driver’s license. The subject was not held at the police station. An arraignment was scheduled for Dec. 3 at Newport District Court, police said.

Vandalism – Graffiti

Two male juveniles, both 15, of Jamestown, were charged Nov. 27 with allegedly spray painting and/or drawing graffiti at Fort Wetherill State Park after a caller notified police of their activities. No further details can be made public because the subjects are juveniles, police said.
