Fire runs

Dec. 8, 4:07 p.m., All units turned out to West Reach Drive for a small brush fire that extended to the garage.

Dec. 9, 8:16 a.m., Car 1, Car 3 and Engine 2 went to Watson Avenue for a box alarm.

Dec. 11, 7:27 p.m., Car 1, Engine 1 and Rescue 1 were dispatched to Conanicus Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm.

Dec. 12, 11:00 a.m., Engine 1, Engine 3 and SS-1 participated in drafting and driver training drills.

Dec. 12, 8:36 p.m., Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Rescue 1, SS-1, Cars 1,4 and 3 responded to Walcott Avenue for a faulty alarm.

This week at JEMS we had 13 calls. Two patients were transported to South County Hospital and 11 were taken to Newport Hospital. Calls this week included heart attack, injuries from falls, seizures, dizziness, weakness and laceration.
