Chamber announces first business breakfast
The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce will host a series of breakfast meetings that will begin on Jan. 27, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. The meetings will be held at the Narragansett Cafe.
The topic for the first meeting is “Helpful information for Jamestown businesses with special emphasis on home-based businesses.” Mark Hayward, the district director for the Rhode Island Small Business Administrator, will discuss issues that affect home-based businesses such as setting up and marketing homebased business, and grants for small businesses.
Peter Brockmann, president of the chamber, will discuss legal issues related to zoning and business structures for home-based businesses.
