The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce will host a series of breakfast meetings that will begin on Jan. 27, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. The meetings will be held at the Narragansett Cafe.

The topic for the first meeting is “Helpful information for Jamestown businesses with special emphasis on home-based businesses.” Mark Hayward, the district director for the Rhode Island Small Business Administrator, will discuss issues that affect home-based businesses such as setting up and marketing a homebased business, and grants for small businesses.

Peter Brockmann, president of the chamber, will discuss legal issues related to zoning and business structures for home-based businesses.
