Fire runs

7:30 p.m., Jan. 20, All companies turned out for an ice rescue drill at the Intrepid Lane pond.

11:59 a.m., Jan. 21, Car 1, Car 3 and Engine 3 responded to Plymouth Road for a fire alarm.

2:32 p.m., Jan. 21, Car 3 went to Lawn Avenue School for a backhoe incident.

5:01 a.m., Jan. 23, Car 4, Engine 1 and Rescue 3 were dispatched to North Road for a faulty carbon monoxide detector.

3:14 p.m., Jan. 23, Engine 3 reported to Clarke’s Village Road for a carbon monoxide alarm.

8:28 a.m., Jan. 25, Engine 1, Engine 3, Rescue 1, Car 3 and Car 21 responded to Route 138W/Jamestown Bridge for an automobile accident.

4:32 p.m., Jan. 26, Car 2, Car 3, Car 4 and Engine 3 went to Clinton Avenue, to investigate a propane leak.

9:45 p.m., Jan. 28, Car 4 was sent to Hull Cove Farm Road for a carbon monoxide alarm.

This week at JEMS we had eight calls. Two patients refused transport, one patient was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, one patient was transported to South County Hospital and four were transported to Newport Hospital.

Calls this week included dizziness, pain, transport due to inclement weather, difficulty breathing, not feeling well and injuries due to fall.
