Atlantic Lawn and Garden honored

The Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association presented its annual Excellence Awards during its Winter Education Seminar, and Atlantic Lawn and Garden of Jamestown was honored multiple times.

The awards honored companies in five categories: Maintenance, design and installation, sustainability, masonry and specialty.

In the masonry category, Atlantic won first place for the Flood residence in Jamestown. The project included a multi-level patio, steps, stone walls, and a hot tub. The stone veneer on the house is created with Jamestown fieldstone.

“The masonry reflects excellent workmanship and utilization of selected natural materials,” the judges noted. “The judges also liked the seamless incorporation of a birdbath at the base of the stone wall as well as the skillful implementation of onsite materials.”

Atlantic was also awarded a third-place prize in the masonry category for the Piccoli residence, and an honorable mention award in the residential maintenance category for the Vincent residence.

Photos of the winning entries will be posted on the RINLA Web site at www.rinla.com.
