Composter, recycling program at library

The Jamestown Philomenian Library will host a master composting workshop and discussion with Robert Jackson from the URI Master Composter and Recycler Program on Wednesday, March 16, at 7 p.m.

Jackson will be present a compost presentation and will discuss necessary steps to start and maintain a compost bin. Various topics will be discussed such as the benefits of composting, the dos and don’ts, and how to build and maintain a compost pile.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 423-7280.
