Free workshop tonight at arts center

The Jamestown Arts Center will hold a series of free workshops for students in grades 5-8, including one tonight – Thursday, March 10. All completed artwork will be eligible for free submission into the JAC’s upcoming Collaboration ‘11 event.

There will also be a workshop held on Tuesday, March 15, and Thursday, March 17. Each workshop is from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

East Bay Met School students and John Kotula, the arts coordinator, will lead the workshops. The theme is: “Transforming discarded books into works of art.” All materials will be provided.
