John L. Quattromani Jr.
John L. Quattromani Jr., 84, of Park Street, died on March 10, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Shirley B. (Teixeira) Quattromani.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late John L. Sr. and Emma (Potter) Quattromani. He lived in Jamestown for most of his life.
Mr. Quattromani was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II and after retirement he was a security guard at Beavertail Naval Communications Station and Newport Naval Base. He was a communicant of St. Mark Church, a member of the Jamestown Striper Club and was an avid fisherman and New York Yankees’ fan.
He is survived by his two children, David M. Quattromani and Denise L. Quattromani, both of Jamestown; sisters, Rita Iandolo of Massachusetts, Loretta Brancato, Dorris Abosso, and Patricia Brocollo, all of Westerly, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert, Charles and Joseph Quattromani.
