Teen center’s film making courses begin

The Jamestown Teen Center will hold a filmmaking series in collaboration with the Jamestown Historical Society’s “Jamestown and the Silver Screen.” The series begins on tonight – Thursday, March 31 – from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the recreation center. The fee for the program is $10.

Participants will learn the basics of filmmaking including storyboarding, using digital video cameras, editing using iMovie software, scriptwriting and acting.

Teens may also submit a short movie to be viewed at a community showcase and are invited on a special tour of Riven Rock, where the movie “Dan in Real Life” was filmed.
