• In last week’s Police Log, it was incorrectly reported that Jeffrey Records was charged on March 30 with driving on a suspended license. In fact, Records was charged with driving on an expired license.

• In the March 3 article “Governor speaks candidly to local reporters,” it was reported that Gov. Lincoln Chafee didn’t attend the second Congress of Councils because “his office didn’t receive the invitation.” As a clarification, the governor’s office said that they did in fact receive the invitation, but the “Governor receives invitations to literally hundreds of events each month, so the fact that he didn’t recall the invite isn’t surprising and does not mean that the office didn’t receive it.”

Chafee wasn’t available to attend due to another commitment.
