Child abuse is preventable

I have written my two U.S. senators on this subject and to date have received no reply. It is about child abuse, which seems to go on and on. Shame on the human race.

We have the SPCA for the protection of animals — what about our children? A Society for the Protection of Children should be established for our peace of mind.

There should more severe penalties and jail time for people who commit child abuse. Television should broadcast telephone numbers for parents to call who cannot cope with raising children. Let’s speak for children who cannot speak for themselves.

Mothers who leave abusive men in charge of their children should share in the guilt and be penalized too.
